After a copy was made in resin it was time to dress her .
Material used : Aves super white epoxy .
At first I despaired . Very difficult to handle !
But with help of an expert here in DA , Stewart, ArtyAMG, to whom this piece is dedicated , :) , I managed to get a grip on this stuff.
And it was good I did . It adheres perfectly to the resin , with very similar hardness, what makes it possible to blend it nicely on the copy .
The results were gratifying, and the client happy . :)

I just bought some firm sculpey last week. Have a couple of projects to finish, then I will try to create an original piece with my own two paws. Thanks for the advice. May just try some this weekend.

I am starting to use the same material (usually used magic sculpt) and found it super sticky. Another aspect is the moment it begins to behave and you can start sculpting in earnest. Still experimenting with that time frame. All your statues are so organic and a pleasure to the eye. Again thank you for sharing your work.

Try using sculpey . You have more time . It never hardens unless you bake it .

Thank you Rainer . Tough, and dirty it is to work with epoxy. But nothing better to use on resin underground . It was a risk I took . I had no prior experience with this stuff.
